Vanwege het belang ervan in de franchise was een set die volledig gewijd was aan Digimon Adventure niet genoeg voor het "Digimon Card Game". Blast Ace, de vorige set, begon aan de reis door de eerste serie, en Exceed Apocalypse, de vijftiende boosterset van de game, houdt de bal aan het rollen, waarbij oude helden en hun tegenstanders opnieuw worden bezocht, maar ook nieuwe mechanica en strategieën worden geïntroduceerd.
Boosterdisplays zijn ideaal voor het verzamelen van Digimon kaarten of om samen met je vrienden te tekenen! Een display bevat 24 Digimon boosterpakketten van elk 12 kaarten.
